01. WHO AM I
Hi! I'm Tess Passinault; the woman behind the camera. Born and raised in Owosso, MI. I moved to Florida to attend college at the Florida State University to earn my Associates of the Arts degree before returning home to Michigan to then open up a photography studio and buy my first home.
My biggest inspiration is the life that surrounds me; my love, my family, my friends. Archived photographs and photo albums are my thing. I want your memories to be documented to hold for generations like I do with mine.
When I'm not working, I spend my time doing other art forms. I recently launched a handmade home goods store, Mary Jean Co. (in the fall of 2025). I love to fish and golf. I have a Bernedoodle, Lenny, and a gray kitten, Murphy. I am constantly doing home projects. I am always working with my hands! I am so passionate about all forms of art and design.
MY OWN LOVE STORY / WYATT
We met in middle school in 2013. Neither one of us remember formally meeting. We just have never known a life without one another. We became best friends in high school, completely inseparable. Caught feelings for each other, but I was moving away for college.
I moved back home in May of 2023. A few months prior, we had started the spark again so when I moved home, we started spending every single day together. We started dating in June of 2023.
We did long distance for 2 years as he finished up his time at college only an hour away from home. He graduated in May of 2025.
We got engaged in August of 2025. We are so so excited to get married!!!
We are currently planning our wedding for the fall of 2026. We have been waiting for this for so long and now it's finally our time!

Documentary + Editorial
My approach to a wedding day is often described as, "photojournalistic". This term pairs documentary and editorial photography; I will be capturing the moments as they happen, but I am also ready to direct and take care of an occurring moment.
On a wedding day, I am like a fly-on-the-wall. I will step in when needed, and also blend into your moments when expected. I will be documenting the unseen, unplanned, or unstaged, and I will also be capturing the expected and anticipated shots and moments. I don't operate on a specific shot-list, but rather document the day as it is. It shouldn't be a day of performing; it should be natural, authentic, and real.
My end goal is to deliver a gallery that makes you feel as if you are reliving the day over again. From details to first kiss to the last dance, I want you to open up these photos and remember what it sounded like, or smelled like... on one of the biggest days of your life.
Most importantly, I want you to trust me. Trust is everything when choosing a photographer. Your wedding photos are one of the very few keepsakes that you will have forever. I want you trust in me to document your day through my lens.
03. PACKAGES + PRICING
The only differences within my packages is the amount of hours. Your experience will be the same no matter what you choose as best fit for your story. I serve you to the fullest extent whether it be an intimate 3 hour experience or a full 10 hour day... know that you will be receiving the most no matter what you choose.

Additional Hours - $250/hr
Additional Session - $500

- 6 consecutive hours of coverage

04. FAQ
ARE YOU AVAILABLE OUTSIDE OF MICHIGAN?
Yes, in fact, I love to travel! Take me anywhere. Travel fees depend on where you're wanting to go, but in most cases, I will require you to cover my stay.
HOW + WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY PHOTOS?
I deliver all photos via online gallery with unlimited downloads. This gallery is active for at least 60 days. Photos are delivered within 6-8 weeks.
WE'RE ON A BUDGET, BUT WE REALLY WANT TO HIRE YOU. CAN YOU WORK WITH US?
Absolutely. I am all about accommodating. Don't be scared to ask, we can work it all out! My main goal is that you get exactly what you want.
DO YOU HAVE A SECOND SHOOTER?
For almost every situation, I work solo. I can cover a wedding by myself, bouncing back between the guys and the girls, the dancing and the cake cutting... I've worked this way ever since the beginning. If, by chance, you want a second shooter or I decide I need one, we will discuss that when we are in the booking process.
DO WE HAVE TO USE THE COMPLIMENTARY SESSION?
No, but it is a great way for us to get to know each other before the big day! I highly suggest it, but you don't have to use it.
WHAT IS YOUR STYLE?
I describe my work as true-to-color, natural, with hints of film. I am big on photo archives and a firm believer of photo albums, so I want to edit in a way that those photos will be looked at as timeless and authentic in the years to come.
CAN YOU HELP US WITH OUR TIMELINE?
Yes! I would love to help plan your day to go as smooth as possible while being able to really enjoy every minute and not stress about photos. I don't want you to base your day around photos. Let's work together on a timeline that will work best for everyone!
DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?
I am super chill. I require a 30% deposit due when booking, and the remaining can be paid anytime leading up to the big day. Most clients pay the remaining the month leading up to the wedding, but if you would like to set up a payment plan, we can do so.
WE'VE NEVER HAD OUR PHOTOS TAKEN BEFORE, CAN YOU HELP US?
Oh my gosh, of course. It can be nerve racking to step in front of the camera, especially if your first time is one the biggest day of your life. My goal is to make the experience chill and easygoing by slowing making you guys more comfortable as the day happens. Don't you worry!
05. COMPLIMENTARY SESSION
OPTION ONE:
Engagement Session
An engagement session is the first step to forever with your love. This session is so fun. It should be a representation of you as a couple; meaning it can be so chill in casual clothes, or you can dress it up in white and be fancy... whatever makes you guys feel natural and comfortable. Send me your vision and we can bounce ideas back-and-forth. We'll pick a location or 2, and then we do the dang thing!
Travel fee for locations over 60 miles.
OPTION TWO:
Bridals
If you want to be really in the moment on your wedding day, or you're wanting some more photos in your wedding attire, this session is perfect for you.
is the first step to forever with your love. This will allow us to take our time and get a bunch of couples portraits rather than spending too much time on your wedding day, taking you away from being with your people in the moment. Plus, you get to dress up twice!
Travel fee for locations over 60 miles.
OPTION THREE:
Rehearsal Dinner
Once your rehearsal is over, I will come by and get some photos of the rehearsal dinner with you and your loved ones before the big day! This dinner is often packed full with emotions, and worth the documentation. Those real, sentimental moments are worth capturing.
